Dmitry Sinkovsky, Violon & Contre-ténor Le violoniste Dmitry Sinkovsky se préparait à une carrière internationale au Conservatoire de Moscou (avec Alexander Kirov) où il passa son diplôme en 2005, lorsque sa curiosité et une rencontre avec une pionnière de la musique baroque, la violoniste Maria Leonhardt, le guida vers un répertoire plus ancien et le convainquit de se concentrer sur la pratique de l'interprétation historique. Depuis lors, il a remporté d’innombrables prix dans de grands concours internationaux : Premio Bonporti en Italie (2005), Concours Bach de Leipzig (2006), Concours Musica Antiqua de Bruges (Premier Prix, prix du public et prix de la critique, 2008), Prix Romanus Weichlein au Concours Biber en Autriche en 2009 pour son « extraordinaire interprétation des Sonates du rosaire de Biber », et Premier Prix au Concours Telemann de Magdebourg (2011). La critique comme le public soulignent sa capacité à « jouer avec son cœur » tout en interprétant avec aisance une musique d’une difficulté prodigieuse. Dmitry Sinkovsky est très recherché comme soliste, premier violon solo et chef d’orchestre; il joue beaucoup en Europe, en Russie, au Canada, en Asie, en Australie et aux États-Unis. Il est à la tête de l’ensemble La Voce Strumentale, qu’il a fondé à Moscou en 2011, et il travaille avec les meilleurs orchestres baroques actuels, notamment Il Giardino Armonico, L’Accademia Bizantina et Il Pomo d’Oro (Italie), L’Australian Brandenburg orchestra, B’Rock (Belgique), Concerto Köln (Allemagne), Arion Baroque Orchestra (Canada), Armonia Atenea (Grèce), L’Orchestre baroque d’Helsinki (Finlande) et L’Orchestre baroque de Séville (Espagne). Au cours des saisons 2012 à 2015, il est chef invité d’Il Complesso Barocco, accompagnant l’éminente mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato dans sa tournée de concerts de Drama Queens. Cette longue tournée a couvert les principales salles de concert d’Europe, des Etats-Unis et d’Asie. En qualité de chef d’orchestre il a collaboré avec des orchestres tel que National Spanish orchestra, Seattle Symphony orchestra et Dubrovnik Symphony orchestra. Autre facette de son grand talent: Dmitry Sinkovsky est également très sollicité comme contre-ténor. Il a été invité et acclamé lors de nombreux concerts en Australie (Sydney et Melbourne) ainsi que lors de nombreux concerts en Europe et en Russie. Sa facilité déconcertante de passer du chant au violon lors d’un concert lui a valu une grande admiration et l’enthousiasme mérité du public. Lauréat du Concours Jumpstart Jr. aux Pays-Bas, Dmitry Sinkovsky s’est vu prêter un superbe violon Francesco Ruggeri (1675). ------------------------------------------------------- Dmitry Sinkovsky, Violin & Countertenor Dmitry Sinkovsky was being groomed for an international career as a violinist by the Moscow Conservatory (with Alexander Kirov), from which he graduated in 2005, when his curiosity led him to an earlier repertoire. A meeting with Baroque violinist and early music pioneer Maria Leonhardt , convinced him to change course and concentrate on historical performance practices. He has since been awarded innumerable prizes in major competitions, such as the Premio Bonporti in Italy (2005), the Musica Antiqua Competition in Bruges (first prize, audience prize and critics’ prize, 2008), Romanus Weichlein Prize at the international Biber Competition in Austria 2009, for his extraordinary interpretation of Franz Biber's Rosary Sonatas, and first prize at the Telemann Competition in Magdeburg (2011). Both critics as his musical audience underline his capacity " to play with his heart" while interpreting at the highest musical standards possible, a repertoire of great difficulty. Dmitry Sinkovsky is very much in demand as a soloist, concert master, first violinist and conductor. He can be seen on stages in Europe, Russia, Canada, Asia, Australia and the U.S. He heads the ensemble La Voce Strumentale, which he founded in Moscow in 2011. Sinkovsky works with some of the finest Baroque orchestras today including Il Pomo d’Oro (Italy), Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, B`Rock (Belgium), Concerto Köln (Germany), Arion Baroque Orchestra ( Canada), Armonia Arenea ( Greece), the Helsinki Baroque Orchestra and the Orquestra Barroca de Sevilla (Spain). During the 2012 to 2015 seasons, he was a guest conductor of II Complesso Barocco, accompanying the distinguished mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato in her 'Drama Queens`concert tour with performances in major concert halls throughout Europe, the USA and Asia. As conductor, he has been working with the following orchestras: National Spanish orchestra, Seattle Symphony orchestra at the Dubrovnik Symphony orchestra.
